A man has not been seen in 42 years after he mysteriously disappeared on a camping holiday in Scotland.

Michael Bell was 28 when he travelled to the Isle of Skye in May 1983 with a friend.

However, after he decided to return home to Sheldon early, he left his friend and returned to the mainland where he was spotted a number of times.

But shortly after, there was no sign of the factory worker and efforts to trace him in the decades since have failed.

Michael was a Birmingham City fan along with his father who continued to attend games in his absence in the hope that his son may appear at one.
