Hermosillo (Mexico): A number of children were among those killed in a massive explosion and fire at a store in Hermosillo, northwestern Mexico on Saturday. Local authorities have confirmed that 23 people died and 11 others were injured in the tragic incident.

“My heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives,” she posted on X.

She confirmed that government support was being mobilized and instructed the interior minister to coordinate with Sonora state authorities and ensure that victims’ families and the injured receive immediate help.
