India’s largest launch vehicle, the LVM3, is set to place the communication satellite CMS-03 into orbit on Sunday evening, November 2. Marking a significant milestone for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), CMS-03 will be the first satellite weighing over 4,000 kg to be launched into a distant geosynchronous transfer orbit from Indian soil.
