Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider didn’t hold back after his team’s heartbreaking Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2025 World Series. The Blue Jays came painfully close to ending their 32-year championship drought, but the Dodgers’ late comeback and extra-inning heroics sealed a 5-4 win and back-to-back titles.
Schneider faced the media after the game and was quick to dismiss the “David vs. Goliath” label that had followed his team throughout the series. The Blue Jays were considered heavy underdogs against the star-studded Dodgers, even though Toronto finished the regular season with a better record.
