It was a big night for the Mohave College men’s soccer team. After defeating Eastern Arizona in its first-ever playoff game, the Bighorns headed to the Region 1 Championship against Yavapai, who defeated Arizona Western on penalty kicks. The Bighorns hosted the Roughriders in a shutout 6-0 to not only become region champions, but to continue toward the ultimate goal, a national championship.
“We always had this in mind. I think we were a year too early, but this is just a great group of people.
