Columba McVeigh, from Donaghmore, Co Tyrone, was just 19 when he was abducted. He was last seen alive on October 31, 1975.

The latest in a series of searches is underway at Bragan Bog near Emyvale, Co Monaghan.

Mr McVeigh is one of 17 victims known as the Disappeared.

His sister, Dympna Kerr, will today join other families for the 19th annual All Souls Silent Walk at Stormont.

They will walk from the Edward Carson statue to the steps of Parliament Buildings where they will lay a black wreath with five white lilies representing those who have yet to be found: Mr McVeigh, Joe Lynskey, Robert Nairac and Seamus Maguire, and Lisa Dorrian, who vanished from a caravan park in Co Down in 2005.

Fr Joe Gormley will lead prayers and there will be contributions from family members.
