Plans have remained ongoing this year to secure permanent office space for Mohave County’s Third supervisory district, with an original project budget of $600,000. But now county officials are pursuing options that would allow for the project’s construction at two-thirds the cost.

Supervisor Sonny Borrelli is well into his first year as South Lake Havasu City’s representative on the county’s governing board; and efforts have remained ongoing since January to secure office space for the former Arizona senate majority leader. The board is expected to receive a report on Monday by the Mohave County Public Works Department, in which county staff are expected to provide options for the project’s design and construction. The board is now expected to seek a project with a target cost of $400,000
