One of the most intriguing offseasons is beginning for the Phillies as the free agency period opens five days after the World Series ends.

For the Phillies, the intrigue not only includes how much money they're willing to spend for players who can get them over the hump, i.e., the Los Angeles Dodgers .

It also includes whether they can keep two marquee players of their own in designated hitter Kyle Schwarber and catcher J.T. Realmuto.

In addition, pitcher Ranger Suarez is eligible for free agency. And center fielder Harrison Bader is expected to become a free agent once he turns down his mutual option of $10 million for 2026.
