77-year-old woman staying alone found dead in Adoor

PATHANAMTHITTA: A 77-year-old woman was found hanging in Adoor. She has been identified as Retnamma and was found dead Sunday morning. The locals residing nearby informed the police. The police' initial conclusion is that Retnamma may have committed suicide after slitting her wrist.

A clarity would be obtained only after the inquest and postmortem procedures are completed. There is nothing suspicious in the incident. Retnamma was staying alone after her husband’s death.
