London: In a horrifying act of violence that shook Britain’s rail network, multiple passengers were stabbed aboard a moving train traveling from Doncaster to London King’s Cross on Friday evening. British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack, which left at least nine people injured, several of them critically.
The incident occurred at around 7:39 p.m. (GMT) on November 1, when emergency services received distress calls from passengers aboard the 6:25 p.m. service from Doncaster. The train was halted at Huntingdon Station in Cambridgeshire after reports of a violent altercation involving knives. Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic as passengers ran for safety, while others tried to subdue the attackers before police arrive
