Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday launched a blistering attack on RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family, setting the stage for a fiery political showdown ahead of the Bihar assembly elections.

Speaking at a massive rally in Muzaffarpur, Shah said if Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu’s son, comes to power, Bihar would once again descend into 'jungle raj,' a phrase often used by the BJP to describe the RJD’s earlier rule marked by alleged lawlessness.

‘Three ministries for crime’

Shah didn’t hold back as he mocked the RJD’s return bid. “If Lalu’s son becomes the chief minister, Bihar will see three new ministries, for murder, kidnapping, and extortion,” he told the crowd, drawing loud cheers from BJP supporters, PTI reported.
