The following appointments, promotions and new hires at south Louisiana businesses and nonprofits have been announced in recent weeks.
New Orleans
Dale Revelle , a lifelong shipping professional, was sworn in this month to a five-year term as a commissioner for the Port of New Orleans. Gov. Jeff Landry appointed him as one of four representatives from Orleans Parish on the seven-member board. The longtime chief of Revelle Shipping Agency and current president of DSR Properties will also serve on the board of the New Orleans Public Belt.
Louis "Jeff" Williams , a New Orleans native, was appointed as regional director of the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East. Williams previously worked as the senior project manager for the local district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engin
