A group of shackled migrants in plain clothes was seen lining up on the tarmac of the Indianapolis Airport.
They were waiting to board an Eastern Air Express plane slated to transport them to one of the country’s largest deportation hubs, a rural airport in Alexandria, Louisiana .
The scene was captured on Oct. 24 by Mirror Indy journalists , who broke the news that federal government had quietly been chartering flight to and from the Indianapolis International Airport since early September.
It marks the latest addition to Indiana’s ever-expanding role in the Midwest under the President Donald Trump administration's plan for mass deportation, ultimately turning the state into a primary stop on its course of deportation.
