MANHATTAN — Against the relentless pressure of the top-ranked Texas Tech defense , Kansas State dialed up a play to take advantage of the Red Raiders ' aggressiveness, getting the ball quickly to Garrett Oakley with a lot of green turf in front of him.

The big tight end maneuvered his way through traffic as the Texas Tech defense chased him down from behind. It looked like the Wildcats were putting together a drive to retake the lead early in the second half.

But for the second time in the contest, star Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez punched the ball out of a Wildcats ball-carrier's hands. Texas Tech recovered, and three plays later, J'Koby Williams broke a few tackles and ran away for a 41-yard touchdown, creating a large enough gap that turned out to be too much for the Wildc
