NEW YORK (WABC) -- Sunday marks the last day of in-person early voting in New York State, where the biggest race is mayor of New York City.
More than 584,000 people across the five boroughs have voted early so far, according to the NYC Board of Elections. Brooklyn had the highest turnout, with nearly 190,000 ballots cast.
Polls will be open between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in New York City on Sunday.
On Saturday, Rev. Al Sharpton hosted Democratic frontrunner Zohran Mamdani at the National Action Network, though he's not endorsing the candidate. Mamdani later appeared with NY Attorney General Letitia James, who has backed him.
"We have more than 100,000 volunteers knocking on doors. We're hoping to break the New York State record of knocking 200,000 doors in a single day," Mamdani said.
