Penn State held its own against No. 1 Ohio State for two quarters on Saturday in Columbus.

They do not hand out medals for 30-minute efforts.

The Buckeyes dominated Terry Smith’s Nittany Lions in the second half, pulling away for a 38-14 victory.

Penn State’s grades? Not great.

CORNERBACKS: F.

It’s hard to imagine a group playing much worse. A room led by A.J. Harris and Audavion Collins certainly does not lack in talent, but the corners were badly outplayed by Ohio State’s wide receiver duo of Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, who combined for 11 receptions for 247 yards and three touchdowns. Those two did whatever they wanted on Saturday. 41
