CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were killed on Sunday morning after a multi-vehicle crash on I-94 at the I-57 split, Illinois State Police said.

The crash happened at about 1:52 a.m. on southbound I-94 at the I-57 split, Illinois State Police said.

ABC7 obtained video showing that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

ISP confirmed three people died as a result of the crash.

At 6:40 a.m. all I-94 southbound lanes were closed. Traffic was being diverted at 95th Steet.

All lanes reopened at about 7:27 a.m., Illinois State Police said.
