Police have arrested two British nationals following the stabbing on a train in Huntingdon.
In a major update this morning, the British Transport Police said the men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder are a 32-year-old black British national and a 35-year-old British national of Caribbean descent.
British Transport Police Superintendent John Loveless said the two were taken into custody within eight minutes of a call being placed to emergency services last night following the attack on the train, a high-speed service which had stopped at the Cambridgeshire station as it travelled to London King's Cross.
