A former Royal butler has revealed that King Charles may have felt torn about the decision to strip his younger brother Andrew of his Royal titles, due to a promise he might have made to the late Queen Elizabeth before her passing.

Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday evening that Andrew would no longer hold the title of Prince and would henceforth be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Alongside this change in status, Andrew will also leave Royal Lodge, moving to a private residence on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will need to seek alternative accommodation.
