After the frosty start this morning, as we woke up in the 30s and lower 40s, we will see a nice warm-up into the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will give way to clouds and showers later in the evening and overnight, providing some relief from the drought. This is the best chance for rain over the next week. We could see at least 0.25-0.50″ of rain with spots of up to an inch across the Sounds and coast.

Once the rain is out by mid-day Monday, we’re dry for the next few days as breezy conditions pick up. Highs go from the 60s, then return to the lower 70s, with mostly to partly sunny skies. Lows at night also hover in the 40s and lower 50s.

The only other rain chance besides Sunday night and Monday morning looks to arrive by late next weekend.
