The calls for dropping Shubman Gill from the T20I side seem to be growing day by day as the India vice-captain suffered another failure in the match in Hobart on Sunday, November 2. The fans slammed Gill after he was dismissed for 15 off 12 balls as the supporters wanted to see Yashavi Jaiswal in the lineup.
Gill has scored just 57 runs from three matches as he seems not to get to grips with things down under, having struggled in the ODI series as well. The outburst against Gill also comes on the back of Sanju Samson being dropped from the team after failing in the last game. Gill replaced Samson at the top of the order despite the former scoring three hundreds last year.
