TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department is looking for a man who fled from officers.

TPD says that a victim at the 800 block of North Country Club Road had their vehicle stolen at gunpoint.

TPD officers later found the stolen vehicle driving on Interstate 19. The suspect fled from police in the stolen vehicle into the Sahuarita area where a pursuit began.

TPD says the suspect crashed the vehicle near the pecan groves along Old Nogales Highway and fled on foot.

TPD along with other agencies began searching the area but was unable to locate the suspect.

Right now TPD says the suspect was described as being mid 20’s, lighter skin black male, approximately 5’7”, thin build, curly hair, wearing a red shirt with white lettering. The suspect is considered to be armed.
