Largest school system in Maryland sees decline in enrollment

Montgomery County Public Schools enrollment currently stands at 156,541, but it is projected to drop significantly in the coming years. The reason? The school’s Capital Budget and Projects Manager, Donald Connelly, said it is due to a drop in birth rates in the county.
