Kanpur, Nov 2 (UNI) Chief Election Commissioner(CEC) Gyanesh Kumar today reiterated that the Election Commission wants to make it clear that it has a zero-tolerance policy towards violence in Bihar assembly polls.

“No act of violence will be tolerated, and ordinary voters should be able to cast their votes as they wish, peacefully and transparently. The Election Commission is fully prepared for this. These elections in Bihar will set an example not only of transparency, but also of efficiency, simplicity, and a festive atmosphere,” he announced during a function here.
