SAN ANTONIO — A fire in a shed in someone's backyard threatened a neighboring home before firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze.
The fire was reported around 3:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Bailey Avenue on the east side of town.
Firefighters say that a shed behind a home caught fire and quickly spread. The fire started to catch the neighbor's home on fire, but crews were able to save the home from completely catching fire.
Officials are still investigating what caused the fire. Both homes were saved by firefighters.
Unfortunately, the sheds were destroyed in the fire. No injuries were reported.
This is a developing story.
