On Sunday, the New York Knicks (2-3) host the Chicago Bulls (5-0) at Madison Square Garden, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Bulls defeated the Knicks 135-125 on Friday to tip off the NBA Cup in the first game of a home-and-home series between the two teams. They trailed by eight points early, but the group eventually settled in and took the lead for good, going ahead by as many as 22 points.
Josh Giddey produced a career-high 32 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Nikola Vučević scored 26 points and Ayo Dosunmu had 22 points and nine assists. Dosunmu now has 81 points off the bench, the most by a Bulls reserve through the first five games of a season since 2008.
Chicago secured its first 5-0 start since the 1996-97 season with the victory on Friday, when the group began 12-0. It is tied for their second-best start after the team matched that record through the first five games of the 1995-96 season.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 29 points and seven assists, OG Anunoby recorded 26 points and Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Towns is one of eight players with at least four double-doubles to begin the season.
The Bulls and Knicks are meeting for the first of three regular-season matchups after facing each other in the NBA Cup on Friday. Chicago took the series last year, 2-1, and is looking to win it in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2011-12 and 2012-13.
