Día de los Muertos started off chilly with lows in the lower-to-mid 20s.

The cold will not last long as temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 50s and lower 60s which is above average for this time of year.

The downside is that it will be breezy with winds coming from the southeast at 15 to 25 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 30 mph.

SUNDAY NIGHTS FORECAST

A “cool” front will arrive in Siouxland Sunday night into Monday morning.

Lows will be in the low-to-mid 30s. This “cool” front has the possibility of developing showers along it so we cannot rule a stray shower out north.

Winds will start out from the southeast and shift to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.
