ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A person has died after being hit by a car on the highway in St. Louis City Saturday night.

The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. Police say a person was struck near I-64 east at Market and later died. The driver involved fled the scene.
