BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Two men were arrested in Birmingham on Oct. 23 at the end of a long-term investigation into narcotics trafficking, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
The JCSO and Vestavia Hills Police Department executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Fulton Avenue SW. It resulted in Duane Jennings, 49, and Terrence Pickett, 50, being arrested and narcotics and weapons being seized.
Jennings was charged with drug trafficking and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was released from the Jefferson County Jail.
Pickett was charged with drug trafficking, trafficking hydrocodone and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Pickett was released from the Jefferson County Jail.
The JCSO stated the following amounts of narcotics were seized
