New Delhi: Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been released from India’s T20I squad currently in Australia for a five-match series.
He will return to India to be part of the Indian A team against South Africa A at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
Yadav returns home to take part in the second four-day match against South Africa A, which will begin on November 6.
The left armer was not part of India’s T20I team for the third match against Australia that they won by five wickets in Hobart on Sunday.
“The decision has been taken to provide Kuldeep with red-ball game time in preparation for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa,” the BCCI said in a statement.
