Two historic reenactments of General Washington’s daring Delaware River crossing will bring this pivotal American Revolution moment to life this December at Washington Crossing Historic Park.

Now in its 73rd year, the annual tradition hosted by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park offers visitors the chance to witness hundreds of reenactors in Continental Army dress cross the river in replica Durham boats on two separate dates.

The first crossing will take place Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the actual river crossing scheduled for 1 p.m. A second reenactment will occur on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25.
