SRINAGAR : Police in Shopian arrested two drug peddlers in separate operations on Sunday, recovering nearly one kilogram of charas from their possession. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to officials, a police team from Police Post Keegam, during a checkpoint operation at Marhenz Chowk, intercepted a suspect identified as Zubair Ahmad Dar, a resident of Sunsamil Pulwama. Upon searching him, the police recovered 500 grams of charas.

In a separate operation at Zainapora Nagard Axis, another police party apprehended a drug peddler identified as Suhail Ahmad Dar, a resident of Wadina Zainapora. Around 480 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from him.
