'Doctor Who's Disney Renewal Rejection Reportedly Stemmed from Being "Too Woke for Trump's USA"

Doctor Who may not have been dealt a killer blow from “wokeness” that it cannot regenerate from, but it certainly seems to be what ended the collaboration between the BBC and Disney, according to a new report. How? Because the whole idea of a Black, queer lead, with several other diverse characters and storylines, was too much for “Trump’s USA.”
