Oregon has been named as one of the Greenest States in the country.

The Beaver State was placed fourth in a study that assessed five metrics – emissions, eco-friendly vehicles, recycling, energy consumption, and landfill waste.

Neighboring California is named the most environmentally friendly state and tops the list in first position in a study conducted by Enhesa , a global compliance and sustainability software.

Oregon Places Second Nationwide for Recycling

Oregon scored 59.5 out of a possible 100 points, with recycling labeled as a standout performance. Oregon was placed second nationwide in this category, scoring an impressive 66%.
