Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Sunday, November 2, went past former Australia skipper Belinda Clark to become the player with the most runs in women’s ODI World Cup knockouts, with 331 runs in four innings. The latter had 330 runs in six innings during her illustrious career.

Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 171 in the semifinals against Australia in the 2017 ODI World Cup and followed it up with a 51-run knock in the final against England.

In the ongoing edition, Harmanpreet scored 89 against Australia in the semifinal but could manage just 20 runs in the final against South Africa, but that was enough to take her past Clark’s longstanding record.
