INDIANAPOLIS -- Quenton Jackson collected the ball at the top of the key, made a brief shot fake and then saw one of the most decorated NBA defenders of the past decade rotate over to him with the Pacers holding a three-point lead and the clock running out.
Draymond Green, the nine-time NBA All-Defensive pick, 2016-17 NBA Defensive Player of the Year and backbone of four Warriors NBA title teams, left a double-team of Pascal Siakam when Siakam passed out of it, came to the top of the key to square up with Jackson, an undrafted guard who has still played twice as many G League games as NBA games. Jackson showed no sign whatsoever that Green's presence changed the calculus of what he wanted to do.
