BEDFORD - Last year the Barr-Reeve Vikings were just a handful of points in the fifth game from an appearance in the 2A State Volleyball Finals - and then had to wait a whole year to get another chance.

However, they will only have to wait a week now, as they dominated Triton Central in just three games, in less than hour. The win returns the Vikes to state for the ninth time, and the first time since 2020. Barr-Reeve (32-5) put four hitters in double figures in kills, as B-R stepped on the gas and never let off. Hallie Knepp with 34 assists putting her over 2,000 for her career, Addison Jones, JJ Knepp, Marianna Van Der Aa and Lanie Graber all had 10 kills and Mya Raber added seven and Lora Graber had 12 digs.
