CRESCENT CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night after being hit by a car in Putnam County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say both vehicles were traveling eastbound on County Road 308 near Browns Hammock Road when the car hit the back of the motorcycle around 7:20 p.m.
The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old man from Georgetown, was taken to HCA Putnam where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old Crescent City man, was not injured, according to officials.
