LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man is dead after a shooting in the Beechmont neighborhood Saturday night. Police are investigating.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers were called to the 300 block of Kingston Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Saturday on a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is working to find out what led up to the shooting. There are no known suspects in this case, and police are asking anyone with information to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or use the online Crime Tip portal at LMPD Crime Tip Portal .
