The woman who died in a flat fire in Dundee has been named locally, with tributes pouring in for the "kind soul".

Natalie Egan has been named as the woman who passed away following the blaze on Byron Street on Friday, October 31.

Fire crews were called to reports of a fire at the property at around 7.25am. The blaze was extinguished and the body of the 37-year-old NHS worker was discovered inside.

Heartfelt tributes have been posted on social media following the tragic news. One friend of Natalie said she has been left "broken" by what happened on Halloween.
