A man in Tennessee is currently behind bars following a shooting incident linked to an argument over mechanic work and money, according to Volunteer State police. Tavares Sheeks, 37, stands accused of attempted murder in the second degree, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, according to the Memphis Police Department.
The underlying incident occurred on September 21 at a house on Cloverdale Drive in the Castalia Heights neighborhood. The shooting injured a man who was later identified as a 91-year-old retired police officer.
