YOUNGSTOWN Veterans are lining up at Cornersburgh Sparkle Market, located at 3623 South Meridian Road in Youngstown, to receive a free gift card.

The gift card giveaway is sponsored by Disabled American Veterans (DAV), with members of the Youngstown Chapter on site to pass out the cards from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

The event is aimed at helping veterans in the community who may need some help paying for groceries and other necessities.

In order to receive a gift card, veterans must present their military ID or their DD Form 214, the certificate of release or discharge from active duty.

Sparkle Market gift cards are available in the amount of $50.
