SUTHERLAND, Neb. (KNOP) - A woman escaped her vehicle before it caught fire after a crash on Saturday, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash south of Sutherland on West Power Road at 6:55 p.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, one female occupant was able to get out of the vehicle with minor injuries before it became fully engulfed in flames.

Hershey Fire and Rescue responded to contain the fire from spreading.

Deputies suspect speed to be a factor in the cause of the crash.
