A teenager is due in court after fireworks were allegedly thrown in Birmingham city centre.
West Midlands Police responded to pockets of disorder in and around the New Street area from around 9pm on Friday (October 31).
The force said a number of fireworks were dangerously released as some of our officers also faced attack as they intervened.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with threatening behaviour and assaulting a police officer.
Mohammed Zerfa, of Eastfield Road, Bordesley Green, has been remanded to appear before the city's magistrates' court tomorrow (November 3).
Fireworks were also launched by a group towards buildings, officers and each other in Bagot Street from about 2.15am on Saturday morning.
