Fans of the New York Giants are already getting ill from all of the twists and turns they have endured on the team’s eight-game roller coaster. The season began with frustration, turned to optimism, and now is mired in resigned disappointment.
After three consecutive losses, loud calls came for Jaxson Dart to start. Enthusiasm stirred when he took over at QB, and then peaked with a rout of the Eagles in Week 6. Dart and fellow rookie Cam Skattebo were the stars of the rousing victory.
Now, as we head into NFL Week 9 , the Giants are coming off a totally deflating loss in which Philadelphia evened the score, and Skattebo joined WR Malik Nabers on the sidelines with his own season-ending injury. Dart must soldier forward without two of his top two offensive players.
