THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was pushed out of a fast-moving train near Varkala on Sunday. The victim was pushed out of the ladies’ compartment of the train by a man who was reportedly in an inebriated state. The woman is reportedly in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Varkala. She may soon be shifted to the Medical College in Thiruvanthapuram.
The incident happened inside the Kerala Express train heading towards Thiruvananthapuram from New Delhi. The woman boarded the train from Aluva. It is reported that the Railway Protection Force arrested the culprit who pushed the women off the train. More details are awaited.
