Mangaluru, Nov 2: A violent air conditioner explosion on Sunday, November 2, in the evening wreaked havoc in a house at Adyar Padavu, on the outskirts of Mangaluru, leaving furniture, clothes, cash, passports, and other valuables badly damaged.
The house belongs to Faizal, who was not at home at the time of the incident, and the property had been securely locked. Neighbours noticed smoke billowing from the residence and immediately forced open the door to tackle the blaze. “We saw smoke pouring out and the door was locked, so we broke it open and tried to control the fire,” said a nearby resident.
