CLEVELAND — A 50-year-old man was killed after his car veered off the roadway, hit an embankment and crashed into two other cars Saturday in Cleveland . Police say a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash.
According to a Cleveland Division of Police spokesperson, the crash happened just before noon on Puritas Avenue.
The man was driving a GMC Yukon east on Puritas when it veered off the road and hit a vehicle stopped in the westbound lane. The Yukon then struck an embankment, became briefly airborne, and landed on a parked car.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
