Eye pokes in the UFC are happening very often. Last week, Tom Aspinall got eye poked by Ciryl Gane at UFC 321, and the title fight was ruled a no-contest. Most recently at UFC Fight Night in Vegas, Aspinall’s training partner Ante Delija eye-poked Waldo Cortes-Acosta but lost the fight, and Cortes-Acosta sent a message to the heavyweight champion.

Cortes-Acosta delivered a brutal first-round knockout to finish the Croatian fighter. Fans saw an eye poke in the first round, but this time the fight didn’t stop – it ended the way fans wanted. After the fight, ‘Salsa Boy’ spoke from the octagon immediately following his big victory at UFC Fight Night. In the post-fight interview, he said:
