Barksdale, TX – (October 30, 2025) Located in the southwest part of the rugged Texas Hill Country, about two hours west of San Antonio, is the FTW Ranch. Just outside Barksdale, the FTW Ranch is celebrating its 30th anniversary, while the popular hunter training SAAM Program (Sportsman’s All-Weather All-Terrain Marksmanship) marked its 20thanniversary earlier this year.

All SAAM courses focus on training and preparing hunters of all skill levels for any worldwide hunting scenarios with an emphasis on ethicaland reasonable hunting distances – making them better hunters who know their limitations.
